We started!!

The first day of the year I want to be in contact with all of you to share the illusions of this first year of the second century of our organization.

Also to encourage them to put the mind in motion and to continue, they have been doing it for many years, making Rotarism in our club, in our area and making our organization bigger in number of members, in the quality of their projects and with better image in our community.

It is an important year for Rotary and it is for each of us an opportunity to SERVE IN AND FROM ROTARY.

Let us enjoy today from our organization and working as we have done until today. Surely we will have a year full of projects, ideas, friends and … everything that we dream.

A hug and THANKS we are at your service for everything you need.

Campaign Against Polio
Chronica of the Rotary Foundation
Rotary affiliation
After 20 years of dedicated work, Rotary and its partners are on the verge of eradicating this terrible evil, but extraordinary efforts are still needed to eliminate it definitively from the face of the Earth. We have been given an opportunity of historical proportions that we can not miss.

Thanks to its contribution, Rotary will be able to raise US $ 200 million to match the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s $ 355 million challenge grants. The total amount of US $ 555 million expected to be raised will directly fund immunization campaigns in developing countries, where polio continues to paralyze children, stripping them of their future and accentuating the difficulties their families face.

As long as the threat of polio persists in the world, no child will be safe regardless of where he is. Much is at stake

Rotary began as an idea more than 100 years ago. Today, our organization has 1,200,000 members in more than 200 countries and regions.

The Rotary Historical Archive section, located in Lincolnwood, Illinois, USA, compiles and maintains archives on the rich Rotary career, constantly updating this extensive collection of thousands of articles from around the world.
